more fauchon



this has got to be the poshiest sandwich I ever had in my life, drum roll please....
baguette filled with foie gras (goose pate, the real stuff not the fake stuff thats mixed with chicken livers), champagne jelly, walnut and rocket...heavenly!

13 euros, merci!

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh foie gras and pate ??? thats like the baguette from heaven! u know for our party... i got ice wine jelly from ontario its really nice ! maybe we can do a french toast with pate and ice wine jelly as appetizer! gotta bring some quality pate back tho!

oh i think i wont be having foie gras until next year. feel seriously overfed!

haha/.... yeah dodo alredy 3 blog on foie gras! but then if its me I will still keep on eating it cos its sooo goood! love all those dishes you posted!
and annie, definately bring that ice wine jelly, never tried that before... we will look for some nice pate too!
I tried to make the oyster mornay over the weekend and its great but a little filling if too much, so I may do a half kilpatrick , a half mornay.
