I grew up in hong kong and man, I love that band, soft hard.
they were like the funniest and most orginal comic duo in hk.
but I just cant help but notice they have been doing the helmet thing for a while since they reunited.
daft punk has been doing it for ages! they are a french music duo that does great electro music and put on great light shows in their concert. they have never really shown their faces in public, hence the robot look was made famous.
there's a fine line between copying or drawing inspiration from other sources.
and from the rate of things, the future is looking bad.

oh ... I never noticed that they were copying Daft Punk but actually I have no idea what they look like anyway... wow...interesting! cool that you found out, yeah they do have a history of getting some ideas from other artists and making into their humour ..even the recent talk show's theme poster is obviously an image of a well-known chinese painter. however, it is quite funny with his face in it kakaka.... , i quess that was a successful commercially!
